
Amy graduated from the University of Auckland, New Zealand, in 2006. She has a strong clinical interest in diabetes technology and diabetic foot disease. Alongside her clinical work, she is actively involved in research focused on improving prevention and patient outcomes. Amy also contributes to several diabetes advisory boards and is an Honorary Adjunct Fellow at the University of Technology Sydney.
Fluent in English and Mandarin, she is passionate about health equity and regularly volunteers with culturally and linguistically diverse communities. She founded Joyo Health to bridge gaps in care and provide holistic support for people with complex diabetes needs.
Amy’s work has been recognised with multiple national awards, including Australian Diabetes Educators Association Credentialled Diabetes Educator of the Year Award, the Abbott Continuous Glucose Monitoring Case Study Competition Award, and the UTS Teaching and Learning Award.
