Women with gestational diabetes or pre-existing diabetes during pregnancy should be under the care of an endocrinologist. Your endocrinologist will set personalised blood glucose targets based on your medical history, current glucose levels, and your baby’s growth on ultrasound.

- Monitoring of blood sugar levels during pregnancy
- Healthy eating advice
- Insulin education
- Postpartum diabetes care
- National Diabetes Service Scheme (NDSS) registrations & access to supplies (testing strips, sharps and syringes)
